Chili Lime Margarita Flavour Ice

Chill out with a margarita flavour ice spiked with tequila and the citrusy heat of Cholula® Chili Lime Hot Sauce. Make it ahead of time so you’re ready to party when happy hour hits.

  • 2 1/4 cups (560 milliliters) water
  • 1 cup (250 milliliters) sugar
  • 1/2 cup (125 milliliters) fresh lemon juice
  • 1/2 cup (125 milliliters) fresh lime juice
  • 2 tablespoons (30 milliliters) 1800® Tequila
  • 2 tablespoons (30 milliliters) Cholula® Chili Lime Hot Sauce


  • 1 Mix all ingredients in non-reactive bowl (stainless steel, glass, or ceramic) to dissolve the sugar. Pour mixture into two ice cube trays and freeze about 2 1/2 hours or until firm.
  • 2 Place frozen Margarita mixture in food processor or blender. Cover and pulse until smooth. Serve immediately.
