Servings: 4

  • 1 tablespoon (15 milliliters) oil
  • 1 pound (450 grams) flank steak, cut in half lengthwise, then across the grain into thin strips
  • 1 package Cholula® Taco Seasoning Mix - Chili Garlic
  • 1/2 cup (125 milliliters) water
  • 2 cups (500 milliliters) hot cooked white or brown rice
  • 1 cup (250 milliliters) shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup (60 milliliters) chopped fresh cilantro
  • 4 tablespoons (60 milliliters) prepared guacamole
  • 4 (10-inch/25.5-cm) tortillas, warmed

  • 1 Heat oil in large skillet on medium-high heat. Add steak; cook and stir just until browned.
  • 2 Stir in Seasoning Mix and water. Bring to boil. Reduce heat and simmer 5 minutes or until sauce has thickened and steak is desired doneness, stirring occasionally. Remove steak from pan and keep warm, reserving sauce in skillet.
  • 3 Add rice, cheese and cilantro to pan; mix with sauce until well blended and heated through. Remove from heat.
  • 4 Divide rice mixture evenly among tortillas. Layer evenly with steak and top with guacamole. Fold in ends of tortilla, then fold up bottom of tortilla over filling. Roll rightly to enclose filling completely. Serve with Sour cream and lime wedges, if desired.
