INGREDIENTS

  • 1/4 cup fresh orange juice
  • 1/4 cup fresh grapefruit juice
  • 2 tbsps fresh lime juice
  • 20 pomegranate seeds
  • 3 fresh coriander
  • 1/2 stalk celery
  • 1 tbsp Cholula® Original Hot Sauce
  • 3 tsps smoked coarse sea salt, divided
  • Ice

INSTRUCTIONS

  • 1 Place all ingredients except salt in blender container, with 1 cup ice cubes. Puree until smooth.
  • 2 Strain twice though a fine mesh sieve, discarding any solids.
  • 3 Rim shot glasses with sea salt. Serve sangrita cold in rimmed shot glasses alongside your favourite tequila.
  • 4 Tip: Substitute the orange juice for tomato juice for a less citrus taste Try using mango, papaya or cucumber for a sweeter sangrita.
