Baconed Beans

WHAT'S NEEDED
HOW TO MAKE
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 1/2 cup molasses
  • 1/2 cup ketchup
  • 1/4 cup Dijon mustard
  • 2 1/2 ounces Cholula Original
  • 3 cans Cannelloni beans, 28 ounces, drained and rinsed
  • 8 slices slab bacon, 1/2” dice
  • kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper

    Preheat oven to 350ºF.

    Combine the molasses, ketchup, mustard and Cholula Original in large bowl.

    Sauté bacon until browned and add to bowl.
  • 4
    Sauté the onions in the bacon fat until tender then add to ingredients in bowl.

    Season beans with salt and black pepper and gently toss into molasses mixture.

    Pour mixture into a baking dish and bake in the oven for 25 minutes.
