Chipotle Kebabs

WHAT'S NEEDED
HOW TO MAKE
  • 1 1/2 pounds boneless pork loin or boneless chicken breasts cut into 1 1/2”
  • 1 bottle (12 ounces) Cholula Chipotle Hot Sauce - use 6 ounces for baste and serve the remaining on the side
  • 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1 sweet vidalia onion
  • 1 red pepper
  • 1 green pepper
  • 1 yellow pepper
  • 8 white button mushrooms
  • metal skewers

  • Baste
  • 6 ounces Cholula Chipotle
  • 1/4 cup agave nectar, light

    Prepare your grill for medium high heat, 325ºF to 375ºF

    Cut onions, peppers and mushrooms into similar sized pieces.

    Thread boneless pork loin or boneless chicken chunks onto metal skewers, alternating with vegetables. Season kebabs with salt.

    In a small bowl whisk together baste ingredients.

    Place kebabs on grill and baste every 5 minutes, turning often. Remove from grill when the kebabs have reached 155ºF internal temperature (approximately 20 minutes).

    Serve kebabs with additional Cholula Chipotle on the side.

    Grilling Tip: Using metal skewers eliminates the need for soaking wood skewers and also heats up and cooks food faster.
