Maple-Peameal Breakfast Sandwich

  • Original Recipe



  • 1/4 lb. Peameal bacon, sliced*
  • 3 slices sharp white cheddar cheese (Can sub for shredded cheese)
  • 2 tablespoon maple syrup
  • 1 tablespoon Cholula® Original Hot Sauce
  • 1 egg
  • 1 kaiser roll

* If you can’t find peameal bacon at your grocery store, substitute back bacon or your favorite breakfast protein.

    In a pan over medium heat, melt butter and fry peameal bacon for 2-3 minutes, flipping periodically. Cook until fully cooked but still tender. As you do this, drizzle the bacon with Cholula® Original on both sides.

    Remove the bacon from the pan and add the egg. Fry until over-medium, or to desired doneness.

    Add slices of cheese to egg. Cover pan to melt, then remove from heat

    In a bowl, whisk maple syrup and Cholula® Original

    To assemble the sandwich, add the bacon to the bun, then drizzle with maple-Cholula glaze. Assemble and enjoy!
